San Francisco Shirt

The hand painted, underglaze images that you see were realized from photographs I had taken in the mid 1980’s.  They are all views of San Francisco from different locations.  You can see both the Golden Gate Bridge as well as the Bay Bridge.  The city skyline is of that era as well.  The tallest buildings being the TransAmerica Pyramid building and the Bank of America tower.  I especially like the view of the ocean at the Great Highway in the afternoon sun which you can see on the back of the shirt directly above the scene of “Painted Ladies” victorian homes along Alamo Square.
